效存德、男，漢族，1969年11月9日出生，甘肅定西人。博士。1992年畢業(yè)于蘭州大學(xué)地理科學(xué)系，獲理學(xué)學(xué)士學(xué)位，并被評(píng)為優(yōu)秀畢業(yè)生。1992年考入中國科學(xué)院冰川研究所攻讀碩士學(xué)位。1997年10月以優(yōu)異成績通過博士論文答辯，獲理學(xué)博士學(xué)位。現(xiàn)在中國科學(xué)院冰芯與寒區(qū)環(huán)境重點(diǎn)實(shí)驗(yàn)室工作。
經(jīng)歷：
效存德自1993年以來共參加了8次野外科學(xué)考察，其中青藏高原3次，帕米爾高原1次，北極1次，南極3次。1993年6月至10月參加中日青藏高原冰川、氣候和水文考察（唐古拉山地區(qū)）；1994年月至6月參加中日青藏高原冰川、氣候和水文考察（唐古拉山、希夏邦馬峰地區(qū)）；1994年8月至9月，參加帕米爾高原公格爾冰川考察；1995年3月至5月，參加“中國首次遠(yuǎn)征北極點(diǎn)科學(xué)考察”；1995年11月至1996年4月，參加中國第十二次南極考察；1997年4月至5月，參加中美珠穆朗瑪峰地區(qū)絨布冰川科學(xué)考察；1997年11月至1998年4月參加中國第十四次南極考察；2001年11月至2002年4月參加中國第十八次南極考察隊(duì)。
學(xué)術(shù)方向：南北極冰芯與生物地球化學(xué)循環(huán)、遙感與冰凍圈變化、冰凍圈與氣候
學(xué)術(shù)榮譽(yù)：
2004年被授予中央國家機(jī)關(guān)“十大杰出青年”稱號(hào)；2005年被授予“全國先進(jìn)工作者號(hào)；2005年獲“世界氣象組織(WMO)青年科學(xué)家獎(jiǎng)”。
